Application for Turning the Page 2.0 - Vermont

This is a FREE personalized library advocacy program sponsored by the Vermont Department of Libraries in collaboration with the Public LIbrary Association. Advocacy topics include Public Perceptions, Telling Your Story, You as a Leader, Building Relationships, The "Big Ask," and Assembling your Advocacy Work Plan. By the end of the sessions, your library will ahve its own advocacy plan. This course is open to all Vermont Library Directors, Staff, Trustees, Friends of the Library, and other library advocates.

Successful completion of the course, including the completed Work Plan, will lead to 10 Continuing Education credits toward VTLIB Certification.

Applications are due by October 4, 2013. You will receive placement information by October 11. The course will begin the week of October 15.
