The Midstate Library Service Center is located in Berlin, Vermont and designed to meet the needs of librarians around the state. Our collection includes both fiction and non-fiction works which can be loaned long-term to Vermont libraries.
While we will no longer select materials in response to subject requests, we are pleased to once again offer the opportunity to Vermont public and school libraries to check out bulk collections from Midstate. To do this, contact Vance Asselin to schedule an appointment on a Tuesday or Thursday.
Individual items from Midstate can be acquired through inter-library loan via the Vermont Automated Library System (VALS.) These requests will be filled to the best of our ability and sent via the courier or USPS. If you need assistance using VALS, please contact Mara Siegel.
Previously-borrowed materials can be returned to the library via the courier, USPS, or put in the book drop outside the building.
The Midstate Library has a conference room and computer lab available for qualified parties. For further information and to request a room please contact Jennifer Johnson.
