Post by Tom McMurdo on the Suspension of the Courier Service - 3/17/20, 12 pm

Good afternoon,

Matt Kozlowski, President of Green Mountain Messenger, has made the difficult decision to suspend interlibrary loan courier service starting tomorrow. This means that today is the last day that GMM will be going out to libraries.

Matt has generously offered libraries the opportunity to come to their Williston warehouse during business hours to retrieve any items for your library. Their business hours are 7AM-7PM Monday through Friday and their address is 54 Echo Pl #1, Williston, VT 05495. It will be a good idea to call first if you plan to visit: 862-7662. Don’t forget to check those materials in after you retrieve them!

VTLIB is committed to supporting interlibrary loan. Though the courier service is suspended, that does not mean that we have stopped ILL. CLOVER will remain operational and we will continue to support out-of-state requests. As long as there are libraries lending materials, we are here for you.

Tom
