April is Financial Literacy Month, and this day-long workshop will be offered in two regional locations (one northern and one southern). National and Statewide organizations like the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Financial Industry Regulation Authority (FINRA), Vermont Security Council, AARP and the Community Legal Information Center (CLIC) will provide frameworks, facilitate conversation and highlight a variety of free resources available to libraries that can help make Vermonters better informed about the financial programs, services and protections available to them. Collection development suggestions and event ideas will also be shared.
