Vermont statewide ILL system (CLOVER)
Statewide Interlibrary loan (ILL) services are administrated by the Vermont Department of Libraries CLOVER system. Member libraries can search library holdings around the state and place ILL requests.
System Status: CLOVER is functioning as expected.

Find information on the system from how-to documents and videos to background information on the CLOVER information page.
Public Libraries
The majority of public and academic libraries are already signed up for CLOVER Interlibrary Loan services. To check your library's status look for your Clover Code in the Library Directory. If you do not find a code contact Tom McMurdo in the Information & Access Division to sign up for ILL services.
Each member library is required to:
- Check CLOVER requests at least twice per week.
- Keep anti-virus software on the computer used to access your CLOVER account.
School Libraries
School libraries must follow many of the same requirements as public libraries.
