Vermont statewide ILL system (CLOVER)
Statewide Interlibrary loan (ILL) services are administrated by the Vermont Department of Libraries CLOVER system. Member libraries can search library holdings around the state and place ILL requests.
Find information on the system from how-to documents and videos to background information on the CLOVER information page.
The majority of public, school, and academic libraries are already signed up for CLOVER Interlibrary Loan services. To check your library's status look for your library in the CLOVER login page. If your library is not listed, please contact April Shaw at April.Shaw@vermont.gov.
Each member library is required to:
- Check CLOVER requests at least twice per week.
- Keep anti-virus software on the computer used to access your CLOVER account.
- Follow the Vermont Interlibrary Loan Code.
- Review the Interlibrary Loan Best Practices.
VTLIB Courier Service
Beginning March 1, 2018 the Vermont Department of Libraries will be taking over the administration of the Interlibrary Loan Courier Service. For more information about this service, please visit the Courier Service page.
Interlibrary Loan Round Table
Introduced in August 2018, the Interlibrary Loan Round Table in Vermont includes librarians from public, school, and academic libraries. The group meets quarterly to discuss issues relating to interlibrary loan and to work together to highlight the importance of this service in the state. More information about the group, as well as upcoming and past meetings is available on the Interlibrary Loan Round Table page.
